Hi, I am Hugon Lee, a postdoctoral fellow at the InnoCORE PRISM-AI Center at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), working with Prof. Seunghwa Ryu.
My research focuses on the mechanics and modeling of composite materials, particularly those governed by interface and interphase effects.
I develop physics-based and data-driven methods that combine micromechanics, computational modeling, machine learning, and optimization for efficient material and process modeling.
My current research extends these approaches toward physics-informed machine learning and agentic AI for micromechanical analysis.
